Charles has been a specialist Business Broker since 1992. Since then, he has negotiated the sale of hundreds of businesses throughout New Zealand. He also provides formal business valuation opinions, plus a range of consultancy and mentoring services.Prior to being a business broker, Charles had 20 years' experience in various managerial and marketing positions, including 3 years in the United Kingdom.An Associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand, Charles has lived in Christchurch for more than 45 years. During his extensive commercial career, he has spent a decade in the motor industry working at a senior management level and as the Investment Manager for a public company.Today Charles negotiates the buying and selling of businesses from $200,000 to over $6 million, and also provides specialist valuation expertise, particularly in the valuing of goodwill and in the settling of disputes between business partners. He has long standing business relationships with many owners of Canterbury businesses and their accountants, bankers and solicitors.Outside work, Charles has a busy family life and enjoys many sports, both as a participant and spectator.
