A commerce and administration graduate of Victoria University, Wellington and qualified accountant, Douglas held accounting, finance and company secretarial positions with a major international accountancy practice in New Zealand and the United Kingdom, and subsequently for the Lion Nathan Group where exposure to a property portfolio responsibility piqued an interest in pursuing a career in the commercial real estate industry more than 25 years ago.

Over that time, Douglas has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge in most facets of commercial, retail and industrial sales and leasing. With a good understanding of the business world, Douglas has been involved in transactions with many high profile property companies and landlords and worked with a wide range of investors, developers, owner occupiers and tenants.
