When it comes to teamwork, Jackie Derrick understands its true value more than most. The Sales Manager at Harcourts Grenadier’s Ferrymead and Sumner offices spent the best part of her 20s and early 30’s in the New Zealand’s Armed Forces, training, leading, and mentoring large groups of soldiers and helping to create a culture where collaboration was paramount.
After her military career she spent time in HR, Sales management, Media, and Service Delivery Management whilst amassing a wealth of knowledge and plenty of life skills along the way. She eventually found her way to real estate and has never looked back, selling more than $300 million worth of property in a career which stretches back more than a decade.
Today, as a ‘non-selling manager’, her focus is on helping her agents reach their full potential. She loves mentoring those who are new to the industry, and takes considerable pride in her ability to build a positive, supportive environment where every individual has the chance to thrive. She sees real estate as an opportunity with virtually no limits for those with drive and ambition, and believes the benefits of working with a brand as established and proven as Harcourts Grenadier gives her agents a significant competitive advantage.
