Karen has more than 20 years’ experience in commercial real estate, built both in New Zealand and abroad.Her career commenced in 1998 having graduated with a BSc (Hons) in Urban Property Surveying at Newcastle Upon Tyne, England. Karen’s career spanned 12 years in the UK where she honed her skills in commercial real estate, focusing on strategic retail asset management, leasing, and sales.Karen moved to Christchurch with her husband and daughter in 2011 and promptly accepted a position as a Retail Mall Manager focused on all aspects of day-to-day mall management and leasing.In 2014 Karen moved to an international real estate company focused on retail leasing on major new Christchurch Central City developments as part of the exciting new CBD Retail Precinct. Since then Karen has been actively involved in retail and office sales and leasing in Christchurch and the wider Canterbury area.Karen joined JLL NZ to cement her position as a commercial sales and leasing agent in Central Christchurch, suburbs, and the wider Canterbury area.In addition to her strong academic background in both real estate and business-related studies, Karen has been a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 2003.
