Rachel grew up on the family farm in Winchmore and would be labelled as your ‘typical kiwi girl’, spending weekends shifting sheep and feeding stock. She then commenced a taste of ‘city life’ at Rangi Ruru Girls’ School in Christchurch. Rachel loved life as a boarder and enjoyed being surrounded by people at all times. Not one to watch from the outside, Rachel joined all the sports teams she could fit around the school work.

Rachel’s hard working attitude, developed over the years, continues to be evident in the early stages of her real estate career.

Rachel enjoys working with people which led to her decision to complete a Diploma in Hospitality Management. Her skills were utilised at local hospitality establishments. Post the hospitality industry, Rachel gained employment in an administrative role at RX Plastics for five years and enjoyed working in a team environment.

Rachel is a natural relationship builder and has a strong customer services background. “If you be yourself, give your customers and clients the right information and listen to their needs, you will always be able to succeed in achieving an outstanding result”.

Rachel has an exciting and promising future at her doorstep with her move into real estate sales. Twelve months working for the company in a sales support position enhances her professional skill set.

Although keeping busy in her real estate role, Rachel still finds time to partake in a wide range of activities outside the working day. Tennis, hockey, cycling and the Ashburton A & P Association all attract her active interest.
