This was a highly competitive market covering a large area with a mix of small townships, rural lifestyle blocks and farms, similar in many ways to the Ruapehu District.The rivers, mountains and reserves in the Ruapehu District have been a playground for Peter and his wife, Karen, for many years. They decided to move to Owhango permanently in 2019. Leaving behind their permaculture lifestyle block of 23 years was not a decision taken lightly but once settled they have never looked back.
