Hi, Im Emma Tankersley. I entered real estate in 2004 in Palmerston North. I enjoy selling people something they really love its a thrill to be part of the process from people initially viewing a house to putting a contract forward, the negotiation, then my first visit when theyre all settled in.

I have 11 years experience working in the media industries, including three years as a reporter and presenter for the BBC and Channel 4, London, UK which I loved! When I returned to New Zealand I started up a marketing and public relations business, made many contacts and earned a reputation for outstanding marketing skills, fantastic service and helping a variety of people achieve success.

I have one daughter Chloe, a pug called Lily, a griffon called Olive, two cats and 1.5 horses (thats 1 and a miniature). Chloe is at Waikanae School and I love being able to help out and be part of such a wonderful school!

Im so lucky to be able to work in an industry that is exciting and dynamic, and every day is different! Being recognised for my hard work and achievements with awards each year by my company is also exciting, both to receive and as proof of a job well done.
