My family and I were looking to buy an investment/rental house at Mount Maunganui to help get our son and daughter onto the property market. After having been told by several real estate agents that there was nothing suitable, I was introduced to Pauline Anderson. Pauline understood exactly what we wanted and showed us several suitable houses. She didn’t mind showing us through individually as time and work commitments allowed us to.  It had been a few years since we had bought any real estate so we were quite naive about what we needed to do.  Pauline explained carefully what we needed to look at when buying and who we needed to contact.  Most of the houses were for auction. I was initially against going to auction as I was scared. Pauline gave us literature and information about auctions which made me understand more. She also took me to a few auctions just to see what they are like.  There were a few houses that were suitable and Pauline took me to the auctions and helped me through the process, which made us feel a lot more confident.  We finally bought a house which we are all very happy with. It is exactly what we wanted.  Pauline knows a lot about real estate and is very patient. She doesn’t try to force a sale which she knows is unsuitable.
