Property has always fascinated me. I successfully guided family in purchasing ideal properties over the years. Now my grown-up son and daughter are settled in Warkworth and Waipu, and after years of accounting work, I’m excited to be on my new journey with Harcourts at Waihi Beach. Local choir ‘the United Church Singers’ welcomed me to join in with my flute. We annually sing Christmas Carols at Waihi, Waihi Beach & Athenree, sing at retirement homes, hospitals, and sing hymns on Anzac Day. I ‘discovered’ Waihi Beach and literally fell in love with it 5 years ago, having bypassed it unknowingly on prior annual trips to Aunty Alice’s bach at Whiritoa. I was excited but pipped I had missed out! Experience of buying my own beach home here had me visiting numerous properties at Athenree and Waihi Beach, which meant I got to know the area in detail.
