Bruce has a very strong history as a savvy property investor and developed Northland’s first boutique vineyard ‘The Fat Pig’. His love of horticulture, viticulture and vineyards stemmed from growing up among the vines in west Auckland but was parallel for 28 years as he became a professional golfer playing the PGA circuit and coaching. His focus, drive and people skills were honed in this industry.

Bruce still participates in horticulture & viticulture and consults for clients doing soil sampling, leaf tests and feasibility studies. Bruce is passionate about helping people maximise potential.

Together with his partner Megan, Bruce strives for balance. When Bruce is not working you can find him boating, fishing, diving, travelling, and playing the occasional round of golf. Rotorua first commercial vineyard created under Bruce’s expert tutelage will be producing in 2021.
