At the age of 9, James picked up a golf club and fell in love with a game that would take him around the world. After 20 years playing and coaching golf professionally across the UK and Asia, James, along with his Kiwi wife and two young kids, moved to Hawke's Bay.

To Tremains, James brings a fresh approach to the Real Estate experience. Having been through the process of buying and selling homes in many different countries, he believes the main part of his job is to take the stress and uncertainty out of what is a hugely important experience.

Being a professional golfer and coach for the last 20 years means James has worked with hundreds of people on a personal level to get the best for them. Combine this with his calm demeanour and natural drive to compete, and you've got an approachable, knowledgeable, and driven sales consultant who will always give the best service, and achieve outstanding results.

Outside of real estate, James loves spending time with his young kids and extended family. He is a keen traveller and member of Bridge Pa Golf Course.
